This project position regards the setup of an IT infrastructure to support 400 users within 2 years. The users are mainly Office users and 2D/3D designers. As a member of the technical team, the IT engineer will be involved mainly in the administration of severs in Windows environment. A strong organizational skill is mandatory because he/she will also be in charge of IT administration (documentation, inventory.........).


Job Requirements:

* University degree in IT or equivalent by experience
* Minimun of 2 years of Windows and Unix Server administration background
* Requires 1 year of Windows Server 2003 and 2008 administration
* Experience in security patch management and backup software (Netbackup)
* Fluent in English
* Familiar with problem and decision analysis tools/processes
* work under pressure

Job Duties:

* Oversee and perform technical server administration tasks (Active Directory, share drivecreation, NTFS permissions, printer creation, DHCP, DNS and quota management.....)
* Oversee and perform technical server administration tasks (Monitoring tools, oracle database administration, NFS permissions, NIS, Squid, Calculation tools administration.....)
* Setup backup policies, insure the installation and operate
* Plans, tests and creates requirements to implement changes in the Windows server environment
* Performs technical support by definiing root cause of the problems and implementing permanent countermeasures
* Deploys new servers in a timely manner using documented standards
* Performs patch management in a documented and strategic approach
* Install monitoring tools, setup the policies according the specification and operate them
