Responsibilities

1. Determine internal audit scope and developing risk based annual plans

2. Obtain, analyze and evaluate process flowcharts, risk-control matrices, accounting documentation, reports, data etc.

3. Perform the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and SOX requirements, compliance and operational audits

4. Evaluate control deficiencies and track remediation to completion; identify key Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) risks and mitigation strategies.

5. Prepares reports and preserves documentation pertaining to audits for internal record

6. Make recommendations on how to improve internal controls and governance processes

7. Maintain open communication with the management and Group audit committee

8. Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions

9. Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards

10. Support on Enterprise Risk Management Implementation project

Requirements

1. Experience working with SOX, ICFR, internal control design and operations.

2. 4 to 6 years financial experience, through auditing (Big 4 a plus) and/or FMCG, retail, quick service restaurant industry experience.

3. CPA or CIA is preferred.

4. BS degree in Business or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

5. Knowledge of COSO Risk and Internal Control framework would be an asset

6. Advanced computer skills on MS Office, ERP systems and databases

7. Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports

8. Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations

9. High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

10. The ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team

11. The ability to think objectively and demonstrate sound judgement

12. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
