Position Purpose:

Lead working with a regionally and global cross-functional teams to execute Logistics Enablement Strategy. The position provides alternatives, analysis to add new Logistics enablement capabilities, drive process optimization to increase scale & efficiency for Logistics processes

 

Position Responsibilities:

l Partner with key cross-functional partners using customer feedback to identify initiative improvement opportunities in Logistics procurement operations

l Assess current Logistics processes, develop and implement future Logistics business processes for improving productivity, compliance effective controls and supplier’s interfaces

l Lead key projects – Logistics Invoice Verification processes, EDI interfaces with 4PLs, warehouses and trucking Cos., data repository, KPI management across Logistics modes, visual dashboards, Advise of Delivery (AOD) reporting, SAP HANA upscaling, business analytics and others.

l Building strong and sustainable end to end models for executed projects by identifying home for ‘run and maintain’ among Suppliers, Service Centers and Logistics teams.

l Act as a liaison between the business teams and IT&P (Information Technology & Productivity) to ensure that the business requirements are complete and met by the proposed technology solutions. Also serve as liaison to Operation teams to develop technology systems solutions (requirements, user testing, etc.) to support Logistics initiatives.

l Lead and maintain key project governance documentation to ensure the proper amount of structure is applied to enable project success; Provide timely updates and elevate critical risks to project management and leadership.

l Lead and drive opportunities on productivity improvement using Technology and process design change.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Attributes

l Good Knowledge of Logistics business processes and flows of international carrier base and industry

l Experience planning, managing, delivering medium (6-8 month) to large (8-12+month) projects

l Ability to analyze raw logistics data in order to identify business opportunities and assist in transition to future state processes.

l Good experience & knowledge of the systems implementation and projects

• Good Interpersonal skills and ability to work across multiple teams and culture
• Good command of English and communication skills

Education and Experience

• Min 8-10 years of relevant experience of which 2-3 years should be on Logistics/ IT project.
• Graduation / Engineering Degree in Supply Chain with IT experience
