Responsibility:

 

1.       Management of the network’s interconnectivity and access to centralized resources of our 4 offices;

2.       Setup and maintain servers, backups and VoIP phone system;

3.       Carry out audits of networks and security for our clients;

4.       Manage our network devices and firewall;

5.       Install and maintain various network equipment, including Wi-Fi, switches, routers, firewall;

6.       Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure and services;

7.       Enforce network security policies and procedures;

8.       Maintain documentation regarding network hardware and software;

9.       Answer users query and service requests;

10.   Advanced troubleshooting of emergency situations on the network, must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as required;

11.   Participate to the definition of standards, guidelines, best practices and metrics as directed;

12.   Assist in evaluating new requirements.

 

Requirements:

 

1.       A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field,

2.       RHCE Certification is preferred,

3.       4+ years of experience in network administration,

4.       Native English/French, Chinese language will be a plus,

5.       Expertise in switches, routers and firewall configuration,

6.       Good knowledge of Linux-based network infrastructure,

7.       Expertise in network technologies, protocols and concepts, such as TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, DHCP, SMTP, SMB, etc.,

8.       General knowledge of Linux and Microsoft operating systems,

9.       Self-motivated and able to work independently and meet tight deadlines,

10.   Skill in developing techniques and methodologies to resolve unprecedented problems or situations,

11.   Have good report writing skills,

12.   Ability to make complex information accessible and to multi-task and prioritize.
