As an Control Engineer, you will be part of the Robotics and Motion (RM) Division and Robotics (BU) Business unit, based in Shanghai. ABB is the World leader in Robotics and Motion (RM) division offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.

You will be the support person for testing and verification activities on a range of assignments in the Robot Systems Body-in-White (RS-BIW) PG/Robotics LBU/ Robotics and Motion division in Shanghai state/China country/NAS region, you will be responsible control system in Body In White.

？ Review and understand Project specifications.
？ Communication with project team members, make control solution according to the proposed Concept.
？ Line-up Sub-Supplier/Vendors for technical specification.
？ Design for control system.
？ Prepare RFQ document for sub-supplier.
？ Communicate with customer for technical clarifying.
？ Manage control supplier team for design and program commissioning on site.
？ Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

？ A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Control Engineering or similar field.
？ Familiar in MS-Office (Word, Excel and PPT) and AutoCAD/E-Plan is preferred.
？ Understanding of basic Accounting practices/cost development.
？ Fluent in written and verbal English.
？ Good team player, Strong interpersonal skill is preferred.
？ Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
？ A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
？ A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
