The Project Execution team are at the heart of our organisation, meeting and exceeding customer expectations while helping to build a sustainable and profitable future.

As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Robotics and Motion (RM) Division and Robotics (BU) Business unit, based in Shanghai. ABB is the World leader in Robotics and Motion (RM) division offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.

？ To form project team, coordinate with the internal engineers with operation department, coordinate with the purchasing for external contractors for engineering support.
？ To establish project planning and maintain the planning dynamically; Responsible to achieve internally and externally the execution of project planning.
？ To establish the budget plan with internal proposal team, SCM and controlling team, dynamically adjust and control the budget and costs.
？ To take responsibility of daily project management activity including design review, resources review, purchasing requisition, following customer for contract, response to technical questions, issues and payments.
？ To be in charge of change of scope, following company’s process on change management.
？ To establish risk management, build mitigation plan.
？ To build project team.
？ To build and maintain customer relationship.
？ To coordinate internal supporting function, especially with purchasing department for timing and costing control.
？ To coach other team members on analytical thinking, decision making process.

？ Bachelor’s Degree of Science, Engineering Study, Mechanical background, Master’s Degree from a Reputed University is preferred.
？ 8+ years of working experience, 5+ years of Project Management experience (If Master’s degree, 2-3 years can be waivered).
？ Project management experience proved by certificate of Worldwide company or PMI.
？ Strong leadership, decisive and analytical skill.
？ 5+ years of foreign companies working experience, familiar with ERP tools such as SAP system, American & European company is preferred.
？ Fluent in oral and written English.
