Skills and Experience:

Master’s or PhD in Statistics (preferred) or Masters in Life sciences or Computer Science with 4-6 years of experience as a Statistician or Statistical Programmer with at least 2 years in pharmaceutical drug development
Understanding of of complete lifcycle of drug development including development of protocol, data management, Clinical Study report (CSR)
Data Management – Identify and share data issues
Study Implementation – Participate & track Study monitoring status for studies assigned
Data Analysis – Plan for planned vs. unplanned (exploratory / ad hoc analysis)
Maintain & archive program documentation - both electronic & paper in an appropriate manner
Strong expertise in using Statistical packages like SAS,
Metrics driven approach – track & pubhlish teams performance metrics
Strong inter-personal and verbal and written communication skills

Roles and Responsibilities:

Co-ordinate the tasks of the Cognizant team (30% of effort)
Clnical trial reporting (programming – 70% of effort)
Coordinate with client POCs - follow up with clear documentation of client expectations.
Provide guidance to team members in their tasks such as programming for statistical reports focusing on algorithms and statistical procedures.
Co-ordinate Training and Knowledge Transfer to the Cognizant team by the Client in a timely and thorough fashion
Organize and co-ordinate regularly scheduled status meetings with both the Client and internal project team/account team etc.
Good communication skills in English– verbal &written
