Independently conduct subcontractor due diligence and directly interact with the subcontractors to reduce the risk of the engagement teams collaborating with the subcontractors inappropriately.

Responsible for the initial on-boarding/on-going due diligence and compliance checks required of third party subcontractors or similar entities providing goods and/or services to Deloitte Consulting and/or our clients. Oversees compliance of subcontractors utilized by business teams to ensure they meet the regulatory, firm's policies and legal requirements, so as to reduce the risk of the engagement teams inappropriately collaborating with the subcontractors.

• Develop the assessment and due diligence framework for subcontractors.


• Work with current and prospective subcontractors to gather information and documentation needed to ""certify"" the subcontractor as meeting the firm's policies and requirements, regulatory and clients' project requirements. Use the information gathered from the subcontractor to conduct the evaluation of inherent risks associated with the engagement of the subcontractor or service.


• Maintain a knowledge of requirements necessary to adequately review and interpret subcontractor's documents and determine if they meet the requirements.


• Develop due diligence report and communicate as necessary.


• Manage the setup of subcontractor records in the subcontractor database and ensure proper approvals in place. Prepare and execute exception reporting.


• Proactively provide management with process improvement solutions and execute the necessary actions needed to manage the identified risks associated with new and existing subcontractors to ensure they do not negatively impact Deloitte Consulting or its clients. Take actions to remediate elevated or high risks issues as swiftly and effectively as possible.


• Responsible for reviewing and confirming accurate data and documents to ensure compliance requirements met for regular internal and external review.
  

Qualification:

• Education/Experience Requirements


• More than 8 years of related work experience and have good judgement call


• Bachelor degree or above. Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.


• Solid knowledge of required job skills and has the ability to apply knowledge to a variety of work assignments that vary in nature with a moderate level of difficulty.


• Proactive, attention to detail and able to work independently with minimum supervision.


• Knowledge and experience in risk and regulatory matters will be an advantage.


• Strong communication and excellent oral and writing skills in both English and Chinese.
