Role Summary/Purpose

As part of the 2012 Structured Finance Asia Pacific Growth Playbook, an NPI was sponsored to launch a local CDF platform in China. The Project Leader will lead the project, coordinating with the Asia & US businesses, and between the various functional stakeholders across the business.

Essential Responsibilities

(1) Lead Development of Project Plan • Assess cross-functional dependencies to map appropriate project plan to timelines required by business • Monitor and track progress by function against project plan • Recommend and present alternatives to shorten time to launch or resolve obstacles and items that may potentially delay project (2) Coordinate Project Team • Maintain project charter deck with appropriate version control • Ensure all functions provide updates timely to progress, tracking accomplishments and next two week focus • Coordinate weekly team call to ensure cross-functional awareness of project status and consolidate results into update for project sponsor committee (3) Lead User Acceptance Testing • Working closely with IT, develop user acceptance testing plan for current CDF IT system and Asia developed systems • Facilitate user acceptance testing, including wing to wing modeling – ensuring identification, tracking and resolution of issues (4) Assist Commercial Team Efforts • Support commercial team in efforts to develop locally relevant customer collateral materials Actively participate in potential customer meetings to identify appropriate clients to launch local platform

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of commercial lending experience ideally with GE Capital businesses• Strong Leadership, communication & teamwork skills• Experience in working within a collaborative team environment• Independent clear thinker who is able to initiate and drive change• Able to manage conflicting priorities with tight deadlines• Self-motivated, goal-oriented and result-oriented.• Ability to multitask, and direct and motivate geographically dispersed teams • Team player, able to work across multiple platforms and functions

Desired Characteristics

• Project management experience including work with external organizations• Experience in managing a team• GE ECLP graduate preferred
