Job Description:

Coordinating with product managers and leading a team of Quality Assurance testers to ensure all projects are delivered according to quality standards and client requirements. The senior QA is responsible for taking a leadership role, coaching other Testers, consulting project and account managers on testing requirements and timelines, generating comprehensive test case plans, ensuring all projects are thoroughly tested, and providing testing documentation.

Above all, the Senior QA is a perfectionist.

Responsibility:

1. Coordinate with Product Managers to understand the project scope, functionality, timeline, and technical requirements

2. Coordinate with Development Managers to understand the client's requirements

3. Generate appropriate test cases for each project

4. Lead team of testers, briefing them on the test requirements and ensuring tests are carried out satisfactorily

5. Determine testing timelines

6. Analysis test results and coordinate with the Product Managers to track and resolve issues

7. Define, establish, and enforce best practices for the Test Team and effectively manage the Quality Assurance process

8. Continuously monitor and improve Quality Assurance process

9. Coach the Test Team

Required Experience:

1. Minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance Testing experience

2. Minimum 2 years of working with web-based technologies

3. Experience with bug/issue tracking software, such as Jira/bugzilla, and testing methodologies

4. Experience using version control systems, such as Subversion, Github

5. Experience using software project management and continuous integration tools, such as Maven and Jenkins

6. Familiarity with Agile practices, Scrum or XP or other software development methodologies

Required Skills:

1. Master some auto testing tools, have experience for JMeter, Selenium and other tools;

2. Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, other web technologies

3. Knowledge of web browser testing and compatibility issues

4. Outstanding problem-solving skills; ability to understand requirements and break down a problem into manageable parts

5. Independence, intuition, and initiative

6. Organization & management: time management, prioritization, multitasking, work distribution and delegation

7. Good communication & teamwork

8. Attention to detail / Perfectionism

9. Ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects

Desired Skills and Experience:

1. Experience developing web applications

2. Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
