We are seeking to appoint a DBA/Reporting specialist Guangzhou Office.

You will build and maintain the databases/reports and the operating environment for key applications to meet the business demand.

The ideal candidate will be/have:

Qualifications/Training

· Graduated in Computer Science or related disciplines

· MS SQL Database Management Certification

· Basic Networking knowledge

IT Experience / Knowledge

· 4 years + Database Administration experience

· 2 years + data architecture design experience

· Experience in creating bespoke user reports using SSRS and Power BI reports

· Experience with implementation of modern web services architecture and API frameworks

· Knowledge of IT infrastructure services.

· Experience in creating shell scripts and database utilities.

· Experience in managing projects, gathering and analysing business requirements and preparing design specifications.

· Knowledge of integration architecture as well as third-party integration tools such as Mule soft

· Use of ETL tools

· Experience in cloud application & database management

· Experience in business IT audits and general controls

Skills

· Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.

· Good understanding of business processes.

· Excellent verbal and written communication in English IL certification

Key Responsibilities:

§ Build, maintain, and support the databases/reports and the operating environment for key IT applications, such as but not limited to:

? iSAMS

? Middle tier databases

? TM1

? Controller

? Navision

§ Manage all database patching, upgrade, performance tuning, monitoring, back-up and recovery, installation and configuration of database server, capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning

§ Support, maintenance, trouble shooting and performance monitoring of application environment

§ Develop and support new interfaces and standard required to connect applications

§ Create bespoke user reports using SSRS

§ Create, maintain, and monitor reports using Power BI

§ Create shell scripts and database utilities

§ Liaise with different teams and vendors to support & meet the users’ expectations

§ Prepare and review architectural & technical documentations.

§ Review and monitor the applications of IT General Controls.

§ Manage communication and expectations with key application users.
