DuPont Electronics & Imaging is seeking a Material Planner, to support our PVAM business.  DuPont Electronics & Imaging is a leading supplier of differentiated materials and systems for photovoltaics, consumer electronics, displays and advanced printing that enable superior performance and lower total cost of ownership for our customers. 

In this role the successful candidate will be accountable for the formal planning and execution of all tactical level processes to manage purchasing finished products from suppliers.  create monthly and weekly supply requirements and inventory plans that meet demand requirements from the IBP process. May be responsible for master plans for single or multiple supply sources.

Additionally, this role will support the supply chain team by providing communication with suppliers and generate various metrics and data to support ongoing operations.

It is expected to work in contract manufacturing environment without in house manufacturing.

Responsibilities：

• Creates, validates and maintains a (Purchase) Materials plan based upon the Master Plan.
• Ensures the right materials are procured at the right time, quality and quantity to meet customer demands at optimized costs.
• Develops and provides expected forecast to suppliers on regular basis for the responsible planning horizon. Obtains supply capability confirmation from suppliers.
• Schedules and manages the execution of finished product deliveries against existing contracts or purchase orders.
• Lead resolution of short-term supply/demand imbalances.
• Collaborates with Contract manufacturing/Corporate sourcing on supplier relationship management providing data to assist evaluations.
• Identifies and initiates response to service/quality complaints related to purchasing. Initiate return material process involving QA and Sourcing, Contract manufacturing.
• Evaluates non-productive inventories for disposition and works to minimize non-productive inventory, working with order fulfilment team.
• Participates in daily/weekly/monthly planning meetings and represents material plans as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate material and supplier master data including planning parameters such as order quantities or lot sizes, lead times and safety stocks.
• Provides Master scheduling support when needed by the business.
• Develops the weekly Master supply Schedule at the detailed level (disaggregate/SKU) by translating the IBP/S&OP monthly aggregate Plan for the MPS horizon.
• Maintains and provide valid Available to Promise (ATP) data.
• Identify and resolve conflicts with supply and demand and available capacity for the responsible planning horizon.
• Key interface with sales, demand management, customer service, marketing, contract manufacturing and suppliers for the purpose of satisfying customer requirements and providing policy advocacy to the business.
• Key interface back to Master Planner and Suppliers when required.

Basic Requirement:

• Bachelor’s in material management, supply chain, engineering, or business degree required.
• 3 to 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• APICS CPIM certification preferred.
• APICS CPIM modules 1-2 certification preferred/required within one year of obtaining position.
• SAP experience required.
• 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain or related field.
• Purchasing experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office – especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• APO experience preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
