职位描述

 JOB SUMMARY

The Area Manager is responsible to assist Retail Director to lead sales team to achieve sales goals, maintain highest level of customer service, enhance customer relationship, ensure flawless retail operations execution, as well as coach and develop sales team


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Business Management

- Implement the short and middle term retail strategy for the territories under his/her responsibilities, in accordance with the brand's strategic objectives;

- Support stores to achieve sales target (including general, category/ strategic product and special event sales target);

- Support stores to achieve sales/customers related KPIs;

- Improve low sales performing stores by proper action planning and execution;

- Focus on the key markets/ channels/ events consumers participated in to identify business opportunity, gap and competition;

- Communicate with local landlords and vendors and negotiate with them for achieving brand and business objectives;

- Provide sales report and comments, product comments, and local trading environment and trends, including competition, tourism, consumer trends.


2. Retail Operation management

- Ensure stores are properly maintained including display, facilities, interior and exterior decoration, ambience;

- Enforce company policies and procedures;

- Monitor safety, health and security rules in shop;

- Perfect escalated customer complaints and work flow regarding service and products;

- To resolve multiple operations issues;

- Keep close communication with other departments and make oordination with each other;

- Budget prepare and cost control.


3. Team management

- Lead by example and increase on-site participation and supervision;

- Train and coach store managers for stores staff, sales, service, operations and CRM management;

- Lead and motivate sales team on delivering consistent, professional and responsive customer service;

- Elaborate and ensure sales team working in accordance with company policies / procedures / philosophy;

- Provide ongoing training and identify potential sales staff; motivate, drive, inform and actively coordinate retail teams; monitor their performance;

- Communicate / enforce HR policies to store level;

- Manage store structure and headcount to maximize productivity and sales growth;

- As a retail operation manager back up if necessary.


QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong knowledge of China market, especially in luxury fashion industry;

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

- Excellent analytical skill;

- Fluency in English and Mandarin;

- Computer literacy (including windows, word processing, excel and PowerPoint);

- Sensitive to figures;

- Strong management skills;

- Customer oriented and culturally sensitive;

- Be able to work under pressure;

- Results driven;

- Travel frequently if required.
