Education:
? BS or MS degree of Computer Science or related majors.
Experience Knowledge and Skills:
? Knowledge of UNIX operating systems and Microsoft Window 2003 standard Edition or Enterprise.
? Familiarity with TCP/IP networks and Web Server Technologies
? Familiarity with Dell, IBM, and HP servers. SAN -Brocade, Qlogic switch.
? Familiarity with Firewall/VPN solutions
? Ability of keeping detailed records of and maintains written documentation of system administration activities and procedures.
? Strong oral and written communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform system administration tasks for the lab equipment, DELL, IBM, HP, BROCADE, QLOGIC, SAN, storage Array. -Includes software and hardware installation, configuration and network administration.
? Assist in maintaining version control of operating systems, Server and Client environments.
? Perform upgrades of operating systems and Client environments.
? Participate in developing and maintaining a one to two year plan for the Application-hosting lab.
? Provide input on required software and hardware for the annual budgeting process.
? Manage and maintain Hardware
? Ability to work directly with clients to resolve technical issues.
