In Endpoint & Mobility Group, you will have the opportunity to work on global products that secure and manage millions of endpoints for organizations of all sizes. Responsibilities:
? Design, develop, and execute automated tests for Symantec's App Center product
? Work closely with Development team to review product feature specifications
? Automate both new features and regression tests
? Execute and debug automated test plans
? Integrate third party mobile device test suites into the test framework
? Log product defects
? Automation will include end to end tests from server to client on iOS/Android/Blackberry devices
Qualifications:
? 2+ years experience developing automated test cases for web services and mobile devices.
? Python scripting experience.
? Experience with web services testing, specifically REST API.
? Experience using third party automation tools for UI testing such as Selenium.
? Experience using third party automation tools for UI testing of mobile device applications such as Monkeyrunner, Robotium, Eggplant, HP Mobile Labs.
? Experience using source code control system such as Perforce, SVN, Github, etc. for automated tests.
? iOS Xcode development experience a plus.
? Ability to understand customer use cases and prioritize test cases accordingly.
? Knowledge of Linux, specifically CentOS and RedHat.
? Experience with mobile devices, specifically Android and iOS (includes app installation/removal, settings, debugging network issues, and understanding of device logs
? Basic knowledge of IP Routing and HTTP/S protocol.
? JSON or XML experience
? Knowledge of AWS infrastructure and how to automate launching instances a plus.
