RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interface with the internal Compliance teams, Legal, Risk and other LOBs/ functions where needed to achieve the objective of regulatory implementation

• Coordinate, project manage and prioritize regulation identification, translation and distribution to relevant teams

• Ensure consistency in the interpretations as they are added to the relevant themes / books and help produce and distribute to relevant teams

• Scope would include all regulation ingestion programs across regulators and JPM China projects

• Ensure that all relevant regulations are included in thematic reviews / books to minimize competing conclusions in key areas

• Help standardize the thematic review / books formats to be most useful for distribution both on and offshore

• Coordinate with individual project management teams to ensure that regulatory interpretation is aligned with committed milestones and help update compliance scorecards

• Hand over and transition completed regulatory implementation to the respective regulatory management teams

• Other relevant areas of Compliance work as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• Bachelor Degree or above

• A minimum of 7 years relevant experience in a Financial Services, Regulatory, Legal or Audit environment. The experience in custody and funds service is mandatory required.

• Proficient in both verbal and written Chinese and English

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and bring tasks to completion within established timeframes

• Have a demonstrated ability to deliver accurate and high quality work product. Clear and concise verbal and written communication

• Able to deliver quality compliance risk analysis; solutions provider to enable business within the confines of compliance and regulatory risks

• Able to communicate in difficult/sensitive situations and create consensus without compromising compliance independency
