Principal Accountabilities    

• To manage all agreements – including but not limited to author, freelancer, content providers like image vendors, illustrators and other editorial services, technology like digital platforms, , etc.
• To manage and attend to third party rights request – incoming and outgoing
• To identify and evaluate, in consultation with HOD, potential alliances and partnerships in order to effectively assess and prioritize each business development opportunity
• To understand the market opportunities and competitive landscape by networking, outreach and relationship building
• To negotiate terms for the acquisition of contracts and rights sales
• To liaise and maintain working relationship with Legal, Editorial, Business Development, Marketing, Production and Finance, coordinate flow of information both internally and externally
• To interact and address any author concerns regarding royalties
• To manage systems for storing and retrieval of project information

Person specification

- Minimum Bachelor of Degree     

- Experience Preferably from Publishing

- Knowledge Understanding of systems Understanding of Publishing industry                       

- Good interpersonal skills Strong communication skills (Mandarin  and English) 

- Ability to work under pressure
