POSITION TITLE : Manager-Parts and Service, Power Systems, China

GROUP : Global Power Group
BASIC FUNCTION

Responsible for all activities of technical service department of Kohler Engine and KPS China to ensure product performance goals are achieved to customer satisfaction within assigned areas. Directs and manages all presales and post-sales technical services to clients, including commissioning, installation, testing and maintenance. Manages and trains a department of technical service engineers.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:

1. Build up world-wide strong service brand with excellent service and high satisfaction for the end users. With strong capability and well equipped team. Build up service management system.

2. Lead the technical service functions；Develops site service policies and guidelines；

3. Develop technical training systems further and build up strong service network. Develops technical training policies and guidelines for China distributors/dealers/customers and implement.

4. Organize service force to complete commissioning support for some big project.

5. Assists distributors and customers in China with commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of generator sets; Ensure customers service requests are met in a timely manner.

6. Manages investigation, treatment and follow-up of customer complaints regarding quality, tolerances, specifications, and delivered condition of products. Attending failure investigation within China; Improve warranty claim process.

7. Set up Changzhou parts stock and sales pricing system, maintain corresponding SAP system, develop parts business further.

8. Keep smooth communication with other dept. of factory. Response product’s performance in market and customer's requirement. Make technical recommendations both for product improvement and for new product. Complete quality feedback of aftermarket assist factory to improve product quality.

Others:

1. Develop, coach and train the subordinates in KPS service team.

2. Set up KPI and IDP for subordinates.

3. Other tasks assigned by managers.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• University graduate in Internal combustion engine, mechanical or electrical engineering;
• At least 8 years diesel or gasoline engine, construction equipment or engineering working experience; more than 3 years management experience.
• Diesel driven machine matching experience preferred;
• Proficient written and spoken English;
• Proficient PC skills;
• Basic electrical control system knowledge;
• Willingness to travel domestically and oversea
• Working experience in foreign invested companies preferred
