Title
Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
This role requires the candidate to have the background of mechanical design working experience specifically in the mobile/communication industry.

This role is responsible for delivering qualified designs of mechanical PCB stack-up, peripheral electromechanical components, sheet metal parts etc. It is required to work seamlessly with hardware development and validation teams on design, testing, analysis and debugging for mechanical, EMC/ESD, thermal, reliability/etc issues, as well as BoM management and documentation.

The job also includes close interaction with vendors and CMs for sampling, factory on-site assistance and design issue technical support. The mechanical design database is delivered in format of Creo (Pro/E).


Skills/Experience
The candidate is expected to have been working dependently on PCB stack-up design, mechanical design of smartphone and tablet products, and have successfully delivered a couple of qualified designs to mass production for previous employers. Candidate is also required to have understanding of materials, finish/process and cost of mobile device mechanical parts.

Better to be familiar with mechanical related supply chain and the general work mode/process of ODM/OEM/IDH.

Good team-work and cooperation spirit, good time-management and strong self-motivation are required.

Working as the technical lead, and good documentation/reporting capability are the PLUS.

Good English and Chinese communication skills (written and verbal).
Be familiar with tools of Creo, Pro/E, AutoCAD.
Minimum 3~4 yrs mechanical design working experience.
BE or above.
