Purpose and Objectives:

We are looking for an intern to join us in the technical publication team in Shanghai. As an intern, you will be responsible for assisting the technical writers to write documentation in English for Elekta software products, and for helping with the localization-related work. You will be able to learn the technical writing and localization workflow for an international software product and to gain experience in working with a global team.

Responsibilities:

1.Work with subject matter engineers and product managers to writer and maintain user documentation including Online Help,  Release Notes, etc for the Radiation Oncology software.

2.Use the localization tools to verify and edit the Chinese UI translation.

？3.Help with other localization/technical writing related tasks.

Qualifications:

？1.Undergraduate/Graduate students majoring in English, localization, technical communications or a related field.

？2.Work experience in localization and technical writing is preferred.

？3.Excellent English writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

？4.Attention to details.

？5.Work with us around 4 days a week for at least 6 months.

Nice to have:

1.Basic knowledge of structured writing.

2.Experience in Translation Memory Tools, localization, and translation is a plus.
