职位描述

Job Title: Account Manager 客户经理

Department: Sales Department

Work Location: Shanghai

Objectives of the position

Implement sales strategy, initiate contacts with existing and potential OEM customers, identify their needs in terms of product specification and schedules and sell appropriate products accordingly in order to support unit objective achievement in sales targets.



Representative Main Tasks

Business Development and Customer Management

  • Supporting
    sales activities to achieve sales targets by supporting
    existing/prospective OEM customers to understand and identify their needs
    to create a long-term customer supplier relationship.
  • Develop
    proposal on sales and marketing, technical solutions to customers and
    ensure account strategy are exploited consistently.
  • Research,
    identify and develop existing and potential customer portfolio.
  • Secure
    businesses with global strategic OEM account at approved margins and cash
    flows set by top management which align with a global perspective. Support
    the price negotiation and the quotation.
  • Further
    secure business opportunities by identifying customer needs in terms of
    product application, services requirements, identifying buying cycles,
    delivery schedules and pricing structure for specialized products within
    the appropriate business segment, including necessary information provided
    to other functions, e.g. credit control, logistic, qualities.
  • Improve
    customer relationship and Support commercial issues of program management
    .

Contract and payment receivable management

  • Conclude
    sales contracts by coordinating the personnel of customer services,
    logistics and inventory control.
  • Provide
    customer credit information for company credit control function, ensure
    timely payment of receivables to meet established sales targets and
    revenue goals.

Support for sales forecasting and planning

  • Maintain
    up-to-date awareness of industry trends, technical development, market
    activities and industry intelligence to help define the marketability of
    products and report to supervisor identified trends that could affect
    targets.
  • Collect
    customer data / information / feedback / expectation prepare for
    presentation / seminars / workshops to promote the products and services.
  • Develop
    and regular update promotional materials to identified customers.
  • Monitor,
    analyze, assess and communicate monthly sales data to supervisor and
    propose product / service planning, revision of strategies, identify
    business opportunities, pinpoint problem areas and provide solutions.

Contribute to pricing policy

  • Implement
    the defined pricing policies.
  • Provide
    inputs on pricing structure according to market intelligence on price
    trends, consumption analysis, sales terms and conditions, customer
    profiles to ensure profitable margins.

Market intelligence

  • Establish
    a database to obtain, update, maintain and evaluate market trends, the
    application of products / technology and service needs, etc. in order to
    support identifying new business opportunities.
  • Prepare
    market research project to develop competitor grid and benchmarking
    analyses on competitors’ positioning and the performance of their
    competitive products.

Qualifications

  • Strong
    business sense.
  • Excellent
    interpersonal and communication skill.
  • Good at
    both oral and written English.
  • Familiar
    with customer decision processes, be able to develop close relationship
    with defined OEM customer to maintain account profitability.
  • Minimum 3+
    years working experiences in automotive industry with strong sales experience,
    the experience working with Geely will be a plus.
  • Willing
    for working under reasonable pressure.
  • University degree in Business
    Management or Engineering.
