As a Test Design Engineer, you'll need to: 

 Develop test system hardware and software in test development projects  

? Design test fixtures and equipment, including hardware and software 

? Design test fixture electronics circuits based on specifications or requirements with software tools such as Altium and PADs 

? Design custom test software to control test system using National Instruments TestStand   software 

? Document the design work including the needed manufacturing documents 

Work closely with a project team and customers 

? Write test specifications and technical reports 

? Participate and organize reviews and verifications

? Discuss proposals with clients 

Test prototypes 

? Test that the test fixture or test system meets the requirements and specifications  

Verify the design work

? Verify that the test fixture or test system meets the requirements and is suitable for the intended use. 

Others  task:

?Support manufacturing department ? Technical product support for manufacturing and supporting functions  

?Support the other design teams ? Technical product and design support for other engineering teams (for example engineering team in Enics Raahe, Finland) 

To whom reports 

? Business Line Manager (test business) 

Required know how and skills 

Education:  

? BSc or MSc preferably in Electrical Engineering 

Skills: 

? Experience with Labview, NI TestStand and other test equipment SW required 

? Strong understanding of test instrumentation and measurement methodologies 

? The ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with other engineers 

? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously

? Strong analysis and practical problem-solving abilities 

? Ability to complete tasks within a specified time frame

? Have a good understanding of the electronics manufacturing processes and methods 

Language Skills: 

? Fluent written and spoken English
