JOB DESCRIPTION

Name of Employer : Mandarin Capital Advisory Ltd.
Title: Analyst / Senior Analyst
Location: Beijing
Travel: frequent, both in PRC and in Europe

To support the senior professionals in the overall process, from the analysis of the selected target, the negotiation and closing the deals to the monitoring of the investee companies and management of exit process
- Preparation of investment recommendation paper;
- financial analysis of the target companies - Excel spreadsheet modelling
- research and analysis of peers, comparables, market trends, industries
- coordinating with the due diligence professional teams (legal and fiscal, business, auditing) during the analysis phase, reviewing the due diligence process output;
- Assisting senior professionals during negotiations with the shareholders/entrepreneurs/directors of the target;
- interacting with the top managers of the investee company to execute approved strategies;
- preparation of periodic reports to investors on performance of the investee companies
- supporting the senior professionals in identifying strategies or areas of improvement in investee companies through qualitative and quantitative analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Master degree in business;
- Additional qualifications in CPA/CMA/CFA preferred;
- Language : Must be able to communicate effectively in English and Chinese (Mandarin in case of spoken);

- Skills: Financial analysis and model building, translation of commercial terms into legal documents, English and Chinese languages and good writing skills, excel and powerpoint proficiency, ability to understand and evaluate business opportunities.

WORKING EXPERIENCE

- not less than 3 years' working experience in private equity firm, account firm, consultancy firm or investment bank. Other industrial experience in addition to the abovementioned ones a plus.
- Candidates from industrial companies having not less than 3 years' experience in merger and acquisition also welcome.
