Position Overview
Global Commercial Strategy & Operations is a new organization at Third Bridge dedicated to enhancing our sales effectiveness through best practice implementation, operational excellence and team enablement. As part of this function, you will help to not only build the organization and its capabilities from the ground up but also enable a world-class sales and account management organization that fuels the rapid growth and global scale of Third Bridge. This will be done through a host of large-scale initiatives as well as ongoing management of sales policies, processes, technology development, data analytics, commercial team enablement and cross-functional partnership.
The primary focus of this position is to support the commercial organization in most aspects of operations-related strategies and processes for the function. Specifically, the Commercial Operations Generalist drives global operations and processes in the region, such as regional territory management and quota administration, commissions management, data analytics and insight generation, and local rollout of global strategies and initiatives. While building and maintaining alignment to global strategy and initiatives, the Generalist also represents local (in this case, Asia) needs to senior leadership in the global operations and commercial team.
The ideal candidate is a pragmatic self-starter with program management experience, enthusiasm for building a new organization, a passion for teaching and comfort with rapid change and ambiguity.
This individual will support our business across Asia but be based in Shanghai.
Responsibilities
Partner with local commercial staff and management team in order to serve as the single point of contact across the functional areas within the Commercial Operations team including, but not limited to:
Process Enablement
-Support global process enablement initiatives (e.g. portfolio prioritization tools, Salesforce.com [SFDC] communication / training, functionality needs) and their rollout
-Serve as the local champion and expert of SFDC and other tools
-Identify pain points of the local Asian teams and partner with the global operations team to develop solutions that align to global standards
-Provide recommendations, based on data analysis, to support key business decisions impacting the local teams]
-Lead local change management and communication around revenue operations policies or procedures.
Data, Analytics and Reporting
-Educate the local teams on the benefits of quality data capture and business intelligence
-Foster consistent use of core operating metrics and adoption of standard reports
-Balance use of the standard report platform and the individual needs of team members (identify creative solutions for one-off requests, partner with global ops and the Business Intelligence [BI] team to consider future enhancements, etc.).
-Provide relevant customized reports and analysis to senior commercial management to surface market specific trends, segment behaviors, and opportunities for revenue optimization.
Territory Management and Quota Administration
-Consult with local management on territory / quota design and facilitate territory assignments for various business segments.
-Advise on account segmentation issues, sales go-to-market strategy, data capture and uploads, and specific account assignments across various sales teams.
-Resolve stakeholder questions regarding territory / quota design and account assignments
Commissions and Campaigns
-Represent the global commissions strategy and execute incentive administration in partnership with local management
-Collect data necessary for commissions administration (staff movements, policy exception requests)
-Streamline ideas, questions and feedback from staff to the global operations teams

-3-5 years of experience (ideally in process/project management and/or data analysis)
-Written and oral command of the English and Mandarin languages required
-Prior experience with Salesforce.com is a plus
