As part of our continued growth, we seek a Lab Engineer to take charge of Engineering Laboratory management and operations.

The role

Working in PCBG Applications Engineering team based in Shenzhen, you will:

1. Component/Hardware sourcing role (50%)

· Manage engineering’s components/equipment sourcing, receiving and tracking

· Control cost, provide competitive advantage in material costing, supplies’ services to company

· Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the sourcing process

· Ensure good communication with suppliers about Quality、EICC、Environment and Safety

· Maintain lab equipment/components master data in the strategic system

· Manage the components storage room

- Design the process of logistics operations in storage room, including goods receiving, in/out rack handling,

finished components storing and delivering

2. Lab management role (50%)

· Take charge of the daily operation of the engineering lab and workshop, including but not limited to the following duties

- Manage equipment and tools along the process of sourcing, allocation, utilization, calibration and maintenance, ensuring all labs meet internal audit requirements

- Develop necessary lab instructions & manuals based on test requirements

- Oversee lab schedule, order & safety

- Take care of supplement of lab consumables and waste disposal

· In charge of 5S in lab and storage room, fire protection and dangerous chemicals management

· Conduct the training on standard test methods and procedures to engineers

· Assist AE/FAE in lab activities as well as equipment operations

· Give presentations to visitors on relative technologies developed in the lab

What we are looking for?

· At least 5 years’ working experience (more than 2 years in sourcing or purchasing and familiar with lab equipment (AC source/Power meter/Digital multi-meter/E-load/Oscilloscope))

· Strong commercial sense with outstanding negotiation skill

· Hands-on experimental skills with machines experience are add-on values

· Good command of computer in general software (MS office)

· Good command of laboratory system requirement, ISO14000 is preferred

· Good command of English skill both in oral and written

· Bachelor degree or above in preferably mechanical, engineering, quality field or similar
