Division/Department: Quality Assurance/QA Purchasing

Location: Beijing

Main goals and objectives:

？ Quality evaluation and qualification of suppliers according to agreements with production locations in China

？ Steering and monitoring of relevant activities and processes within QA Purchasing of all locations in China.

？ Assignment in plants and at suppliers/sub—suppliers for production ramp-up-/series support.

？ Internal and external coordination regarding manufacturing processes and methods with consideration of due dates, number of parts for planning and manufacturing qualities.

？ Accompanying and steering of tool production on site at suppliers, tool makers and machine manufacturers.

？ Development, proposal, alignment and representation of concepts and/or plans for quality assuring solving of problems and/or general issues, e.g.

- concepts for detection of quality characteristics and their influencing values by means of testing facilities and/or process steering including pursuing of planning and procurement of required equipment as well as introduction into the production processes

- e.g. quality assurance systems for purchase parts suppliers which fulfill Group requirements regarding organization, manufacturing and test engineering

in which basic principles of adjacent areas and/or new technologies will be implemented into the problem solution as well as steering and ensuring of defined measures including pursuing of implementation and if necessary representation of QA target setting towards internal and external positions and coordination of employees with regards to expertise.

The function is also targeted at issue solving for new projects and demand-oriented special activities and is carried out in alignment with other divisions.

Your Responsibilities:

？ Conduction of quality evaluation and qualification of suppliers for production of component parts in the Chinese market under consideration of effective quality regulations within Volkswagen Group

？ Steering and ensuring of defined tasks and measures for qualification of respective suppliers/sub-suppliers in alignment with the Group QA divisions.

？ Proposal, alignment and representation of feasibility statements for producibility and recommendation for technical feasibility

？ Proposal/arrangement and tracking of measures for preventing or eleminating of customer claims and market affecting failures of purchased parts in alignment with the Chinese production plants and other divisions of VW AG.

？ Self-dependent monitoring of timely finalization of tools and equipment for new part production.

？ Self-dependent monitoring and bring forward of sampling activities for critical parts related to due date requirements for PVS, 0S and SOP.

？ Alignment of required part corrections during PVS, 0S and SOP.

？ Implementation of change measures of component parts and tools under consideration of quality, due date and costs

？ Technical consulting on expert level of Purchasing, Logistics and Production divisions for time critical parts, if necessary preparation and proposal of special measures.

？ Representation of decisions at suppliers regarding priorities, due dates and manufacturing levels in alignment with all related divisions.

？ Development and representation on expert level of plans for tool optimization at suppliers for sustainable quality improvement and cost reduction.

？ Steering, conduction and monitoring of special measures (tool relocation, scrap activities etc.)

？ Piloting / guiding of sampling activities (Bemusterung) and support for 2 day productions (2TP) on expert level

？ Mediation with arguments on expert level in case of differences between supplier and VW division.

？ Permanent reporting to divisions QA and Purchasing regarding conducted activities and measures.

？ Conduction of QPN Integral and QTR on expert level for decisions on required corrective actions regarding deviations and on quality rating.

？ Piloting alignment with project partners and coordination of projects.

？ Conduction of special measures for which the position holder is particularly suitable due to his qualification

？ Conduct supplier escalation in Program Critical Suppliers and decision-making for Top Q / Level 2 Meetings.

Our Requirements:

Necessary education:

？ University Graduate Degree in Engineering

Personal skills:

？ Analytical, team-work minded, coordinative, willing to communicate, persuasiveness

Working experience (in years):

？ Min. 5 years professional experience within QA in automotive area

？ Expert level for VW processes (PEP, CSC, Formel Q) and Quality Methods (VDA)

？ Expert knowledge and process know-how according to area of expertise (Powertrain, Electrics, NEV vehicles) for covering the entire spectrum of component parts within the “Fachgruppen”

Remarks (Language, IT Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

？ Fluent in English/German

？ VWAG IT systems for parts specification, technical drawings,analysis, product change management, parts release and supplier assessment
