The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting the project manager in the delivery of the project objectives as stated in the SOR and BOD. Project Engineer is required to collect and organize material information relating to the project; allowing the project manager to make timely and informed decisions regarding the various work streams. The project engineer will also assists in engaging and aligning with stakeholders internal and external projectr according to RAPID. Besides above works, Project engineer will also be responsible for coordinating with Filling Lines supplier from design, installation to MC handover to commissioning team to ensure Filling lines performance meet BP stakeholders requirement.

The key result for the position of Project Engineer is to assist in the delivery of the new assets in Tianjin so that they are delivered on time, on budget and producing the high quality manufactured lubricants that meet the long term plans of the business. These objectives must be met without any safety incidents during the design, construction or commissioning of the assets. To successfully deliver this result, the project engineer is accountable for:
* A deep understanding of the business and project objectives and working to communicate them to the wider project team as well as contractors
* Support NS site project team when needed. Keep good working relationship and communication with the North Star Stakeholders
* Provide expert advice on the project execution plans and strategies to ensure they are feasible
* Lead project risk analysis meeting and tracking mitigation actions till they are timely properly closed.
* Lead Project MOC process and track CR and MOC status till they are closed timely and properly.
* Support project manager on project management document and procedures review and input the comment for PM making quick decision. Maintain NS project share portal for keeping latest project document for any review or audit.
* Coordinate project filling lines activities to ensure project deliver good integrated filling line performance to meet the BP related stakeholder's requirement


* Professional Engineering Degree is required

The project engineer is is necessary to assist the project manager in their direction of the project through the Execution phases of the project in accordance with CVP and the requirements of Pcp v4
Required Experience and Skills are:
* Professional Engineering Degree is required
* 5 - 8 years Discipline engineer or project engineer experience with full cycle, end-to-end project delivery in engineering company or client company.
* Experience as a discipline engineer or project engineer on medium sized projects > $20m USD
* Expertise in project management from conceptual design through to commissioning
* Substantiate foresight for risk identification and mitigation
* Good personality and communication skill.
* Management of design, design & construct (D&C), construction management (CM) contracts and Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) contracts
* Proficient in project control methods and key metric reporting with respect to safety, cost, schedule and operability
* Experienced with schedule development, management and communication of milestones and their meanings
* Good at organize the presentation slide and metric reporting (e.g. safety, cost, schedule and operability)
* Highly knowledgeable in the BP ways of working along with industry standards, legislative requirements and industry best practices
