The Microcontrollers Business Line comprises of several Microcontroller (MCU) and Microprocessor (MPU) product lines. This position reports into the Kinetis Arm-based Microcontroller product line team. This is an individual contributor position which will have product marketing and business development responsibilities of our Kinetis 32-bit Arm Cortex-M microcontroller and wireless microcontroller portfolios targeting consumer, industrial and general-purpose applications in the China region. We are looking for a self-motivated candidate who has experience with microcontrollers, wireless connectivity and customer engagement. The position will collaborate and work closely with multiple internal organizations including our Global Sales and Marketing, New Product marketing, Applications & Systems Engineering, Distribution Marketing and Marketing Communications teams as well as externally with distribution partners and customers.

Direct responsibility marketing programs and business development in the China region with NXP’s Kinetis MCU portfolio.

• Product Marketing owner for the Kinetis L and Kinetis E MCU series
• Drive marketing campaigns in China
• Define and execute on target markets and customer growth strategies
• Engage with the China distribution partners and customers to increase mindshare and awareness of Kinetis.
• Track and grow the design opportunity pipeline for Kinetis in the China region.
• Provide inputs to forecasting team for Kinetis L and Kinetis E products
• Develop and release relevant marketing collateral
• Monitor market trends and competitive landscape
• Collect market requirements and provide input to the NPI Marketing team for roadmap development

Required Skills:

• Minimum BSEE or BSCS, an MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with at least 3 years of relevant product marketing, business development, sales or customer facing roles.
• Knowledge of microcontrollers including silicon features, development tools and software enablement.

• Excellent communication skills including oral and written English skills.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated with a passion to succeed.
• Travel is required (30-40%)
