Department Overview
This department is an overlay SME (subject matter expert) group responsible for maximizing the sale of Symantec's Compliance software products to enterprise customers through the Territory, Partner and Enterprise account executives in a specific region.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the China manager of Security, the primary responsibility will be to drive market awareness, build pipeline and sell Compliance Solutions to customers across China.
Other Key responsibilities include:
? Assigned to drive sales in Symantec's Compliance Solutions in partnership with the Direct and non-Direct (channel) account executives.
? Cultivates strategic technology partnerships based on the Compliance product suite.
? Interacts with accounts and makes presentations at the non-executive and executive level.
? Responsible for Compliance solutions within assigned region of accounts.
? Works independently, while selling in a team environment.
? Interfaces with all levels of management negotiating and influencing to build consensus.
? Presents programs internally and externally.
? The ability to determine and understand customers' business issues and needs is critical to success in this role. You will have to qualify leads, identify and develop these opportunities through to close.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have a proven track record in security sales and a broad knowledge of the IT security market, with experience in software sales.
You will require exceptional interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, with experience in presenting solutions to both small and large audiences.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
? Proven track record of consistent quota achievement
? Demonstrate success selling software based security solutions
? Naturally strong communicator and presenter
? Passionate and enthusiastic about their business and the success of it
? High energy and a natural relationship builder
? Proven track record of Sales disciplines
? At least 8 yr SE/PM/Channel/Sales experience, focusing on security solutions, specifically on Compliance.
