As part of our continued growth, we seek a Principal Field Applications Engineer, an experienced professional to support all China region customers on PMIC and charger with deep technical expertise to enable customers to move from evaluation through to design/production with different dialog PMIC and charger product family.

The role

Working in Sales team based in Shanghai, you will:

• Support and guide all China customers on debugging Dialog PMIC, charger, Haptics driver, CODEC and other MSBG products.
• Support Sales to promote Dialog MSBG product family.
• Keep close contact with Dialog application teams from local and HQ.
• Keep good relationships with BU and sales, team working for customer project design win.
• Act as the first point of contact for customers in case of any fault report raised by them to provide support and ensure Dialog Semiconductor delivers against service level agreements.
• Work on complex issues requiring analysis of situations and data requirements, including in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain results.
• Work on advanced, complex technical projects or businesses requiring state-of-the-art technical knowledge.

What we are looking for?

• 8+ years of experience as PMIC & charger RD/AE/FAE or relevant position with EE background.
• Experience with PMIC & Charger electronic circuit design, system design, and customer support.
• Good experimental technique and hands-on attitude
• Reliable analysis skill for solution on applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to articulate complex technical subjects in a confident and clear way
• Strong customer facing skills
• Bachelor or above Degree (or equal) in Electronic Engineering (or relevant discipline)
• Good English skill - oral/written
