Key Responsibilities

• File Processing using the latest CAT tools

• Performing a variety of quality assurance checks on a wide variety of file types to ensure correct functionality.

• Using a variety of tools to analyse files to help determine the best translation solution.

• Preparing files for translation and DTP

• Creating documentation for new and existing client’s processes as well as creating process maps to ensure uniform approach to clients work regardless of engineer completing the task.

• To recommend to the Production Manager any changes in staffing requirements within the Engineering team.

• To identify training needs within the team and recommend the appropriate action.

• Working with other senior engineers to organise and distribute the team’s rota and ensuring cover for holidays is arranged in advance.

• To assist the sales team with any queries in regards to file types, processing time or any other client related query.

• To use all available production training documentation available to the team.

• Provide feedback for any documentation that may be out of date, incorrect or missing.

• To make recommendations to the Production Manager in relation to investment and development in new software requirements.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Strong regular expression knowledge

• Scripting (Java/C#/Visual Basic etc)

• Understanding of SQL, SDL, Studio

• Knowledge of Trados

One of our key client teams are currently looking for the right person to join their team as a Client Account Manager (Project Manager) able to offer irresistible service in carrying out the following duties.
