Role Summary/Purpose

GE is an equal opportunity employer, offering a great work environment, challenging career opportunities, professional training and competitive compensation.Responsible for security and crisis management for GE Healthcare Beijing site, including manufacture building, office building and R&D facilities, total about 2000 people, solid line reporting to Beijing site Facility/Admin Manager, dotted line reporting to China National Security Manager who is based in Beijing.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Manage security and crisis issues in a professional way for GE Healthcare Beijing site according to global security/crisis management requirements, such as workplace violations, threatening to employees, down raids by local authorities, property loss cases, and etc.. 2. Responsible for business continuity, work with related functions, such as material team, logistics team and production team, to make BCP (business continuity plan) to mitigate impacts from different circumstance, such as transportation control due to 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and etc.. 3. Responsible for information security management by working closely with global information security leaders, Asia security director, national security manager and local IT team to ensure company confidential information/intellectual property are properly protected. 4. Timely complete security self-assessment and profiler for Beijing site. 5. Manage day to day security related issues, such as travel safety/security, property lost cases, security incidents/concerns which may be raised by employees (such as labor dispute, workplace violations, and laptop/mobile phone lost cases). 6. Manage security guarding services and security control systems based on GE global standard, such as ID badge management, visitor control management, access control system, CCTV system, intrusion alarm system and etc., ensure guarding services are adequate and security systems are up and running properly all the time. 7. Manage other security related issues, such as improving employee’s security awareness, follow/implement global security guidance to local sites, coordinate security promotion activities driven by global security management. 8. Authority relationship management, maintain good relationship with public security bureau, police bureau, fire bureau and other necessary authorities which may have working relationship with the company on security/crisis management.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree or above, Preferably in public security management. 2. Minimum 5 years working experience in multinational companies.3. Strategic thinking, good team player, good people management skills.4. Be familiar with guarding management and security systems, such as access control, CCTV, intrusion alarms.5. Be familiar with China public security laws and regulations and etc., Good relationship with authorities is a plus.6. Has experience of cooperation with company legal and company management team. 7. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.8. Ability to effectively communicate in English.9. Effective problem-solving skills. 10. Demonstrated ability to execution.
