Role Summary/Purpose

Responsible for the service and repair of customer owned tools. Work within China repairs team to help provide world class service to DT customers.

Essential Responsibilities

o Troubleshooting, service, repair , maintenance and calibration of customer owned tools. o A qualified candidate will be able to read, understand and follow PCB level schematics and artwork. The candidate will also be required to create written reports that will be used to document the repair. o Following established testing procedures and documenting results. o Working within a team environment to deliver quality repairs to customers in a timely manner. o Follow job-tracking systems/processes to ensure that paperwork, materials and hours are assigned to the correct job. o Follow established and new methods to ensure quality of work, quality assurance and quality control. Follow job-tracking systems/processes and ensure paper work is updated properly. Participate in Lean Action Workouts to help the continuous improvement of the customer service team. o Maintain a professional work environment as well as company and customer property interests. o Maintain equipment and work area. o Follow all required EHS regulations. o Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering Technology, 2-3 years related experience • Best be able operate DMM, oscilloscope, function generator and soldering iron • High aptitude in troubleshooting and testing electronics boards and mechanical assemblies and equipment. Achieve and maintain department quality standard • Fluency (spoken and written) in English, possess intermediate math skills, fluent in computer skills. • Experience working with ERP systems. • Experience working with a Quality Management system Desired: • At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment • Mechanical, electronic knowledge • Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Previous experience with MWD/LWD/Wireline equipment Overall Skills: � Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision Knowledge/experience with hand and power tools Problem solving and troubleshooting ability Ability to read and understand mechanical and assembly drawings Knowledge/experience with basic wiring schematic symbols
