Role Summary/Purpose

About the Opportunity: You will use your imagination and technical skills at an innovative company providing solutions to meet critical healthcare needs. Job Purpose: As a Clinical Scientist for the GE Healthcare CT business, you will work with leading academic institutions to help re-imagine the future of CT Job Summary: You will drive and manage CT clinical research at key Chinese academic sites in cancer, heart disease, neurological diseases, and other conditions to facilitate generation of peer-reviewed publications providing clinical proof for new applications and technologies. You may also be involved in early-stage physics/technology research at these sites. You will be a customer-focused problem solver, helping GE and our academic research collaborators meet mutual objectives. Essential Functions: • Work with clinical sites to drive the development of CT research papers and publish the results in the scientific community. • Provide scientific support to clinical trials of advanced CT applications. • Develop scientific technical publications (white papers) in support of GE CT technology • In collaboration with clinical partners, CT marketing, CT Engineering, and GE Global Research, translate customer needs into the development of new applications. • Develop and evaluate technical and clinical feasibility studies of advanced applications. • Lead regularly scheduled clinical customer conference calls with a focus on new developments in advanced CT applications. • Provide scientific and clinical support to customers and advanced application specialists when needed. • Support Customer visits and national and regional shows. • Assist in creation of sales tools to promote new technology • Primary focus will be on collaboration with academic sites • Position will be based in Beijing, China

Qualifications/Requirements

• MS and/or PHD in Physics or Engineering or MD • Excellent project management skills• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills • Industry or academic experience in CT & CT applications with background in working directly with clinical sites • Ability to communicate in English• Ability and willingness to travel
