JOB TITLE: Technical System Analyst
REPORTS TO: IT Manager, Asia Pacific
FUNCTION: The Technical System Analyst is a motivated individual who works with the other IT team members and business users on technical and functional requirements definition, design, implementation and maintenance of system applications.

BASIC PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
The Technical System Analyst’s role is to design, and launch efficient and innovative business, financial, and operations systems in support of cross-functional and broad organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The Technical System Analyst is also responsible for evaluating and summarizing findings complete with probable causes and creative solutions to systems issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This description is a summary of principle responsibilities and is not intended to include all duties, which may be assigned.

？ Act as IT liaison for the "business" functional/strategic leaders and define, with the business, the overall IT project and Support Priorities
？ Facilitate to meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
？ Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for standardizing, improving and further leveraging these systems.
？ Accountable for the design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications while keeping the total cost of ownership at a minimal (i.e. avoid customization of packaged software wherever possible)
？ Support to create system design proposals. Create systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to technical architects.
？ Prepare technical documentation according to SDLC standards for in-depth testing for modified and new functionality: technical design (MD070/MD120), process flows and cross functional integration. Support to prepare documentation: Test scripts, integrated/regression test scripts, UAT scripts, requirements validation, facilitate UAT.
？ Responsible for trouble-shooting Level 3 production issues and provide technical assistance to Level 2 resources.
？ Maintain and enhance performance of all new and existing software and applications across the organization.
？ Prioritize, schedule, and administer all instances where enhancements and defect resolution are required.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND COMPETENCY:
？ University degree in either Computer Science, Engineering (Production or Mechanical), Math’s. Master will be a plus.
？ Technical consultant with 6 to 10 years solid technical experience in famous consulting firm and 2+ life cycle implementation for the Oracle EBS R12 projects. It is best if the EBS version over R12.2.5. Experience in global implementation is a plus.
？ Hands on experience in Oracle Form, Report Builder, XML Publisher, WEBADI, Oracle ADF (Application Development Framework).
？ Be familiar with Oracle API, FTP, EDI. Oracle SOAP is a plus.
？ Fluent in both Chinese and English
？ Broad knowledge of the following Oracle EBS modules including Finance, Supply Chain and MFG.
？ Experience with Microsoft Office, Visio 2013 or later
