PURPOSE OF YOUR JOB
To be responsible for steering products through their life cycle, from design to marketing.product. To assist in management to plan and market OUP products and product initiations to further the mission of OUP in mainland China. To provide support to OUP customers, distributors, importers and strategic partners using our products and services, to achieve business growth and extend OUP brand influence.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/KEY RESULT AREAS
Direct report to Senior Product Marketing Manager. Role works closely with marketing Officer to research, plan and implement product and content marketing assignments in Mainland China in order to achieve business growth, brand and product awareness.
Be the expert on education & publishing industries especial K-12 English teaching and learning segment. Plan and excuse researches to collect information and generate reports that benefit senior management team and related parties in new business development.
Monitors all aspects of a product lifecycle, including long- and short-term development and marketing. Stays abreast of trends in the marketplace to ensure the product's competitive position. Interfaces with project managers and clients to determine the product's future direction.
Control the content quality and provide support to customers using our products and services, such as generating and proof checking innovative marketing content and collaterals, liaising cross-department resources to fulfil product strategies, enforcing OUP guidelines and style guides, etc.
Assist the team to fulfil agreed strategy and approaches within annual budget.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor Degree level education in language teaching and learning, master preferred.
With total 4+ years’ working experience, 2+experience in education related or publishing industry preferably. Previous experience in English teaching preferably.
Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary
Responsive to local markets’ needs, and be flexible and ready to accept new challenges
Strong communication skills, excellent people and management skills
Exceptional English writing and editor skills
Excellent MS computer skills and basic understanding of Adobe design skills
Fluent in English and Chinese
KEY INTERFACES
Internal: product marketing, event marketing, digital marketing and operation teams; sales, professional development, global business development, new business development, editorial, finance and administration teams; AE compliance team; OUP UK PD and ELT team etc.
External: content providers / freelancers, design and production house, research agency, OUP partners (importers, distributors, customers and licensees) etc.
DIMENSIONS
Supporting role to further the mission of Oxford University Press by product and content marketing.
