[LMS]Sr. Manager， software Engineer

Team Description:

At Coupang, we aim to Wow Our Customers which requires a fast paced and efficient labor force.  The Labor Management Systems (LMS) team partners with several key business areas to provide a great employee experience for workers in both Coupang Fulfillment and Logistics Services which plays a critical role in the continued success at Coupang to transform the end-to-end Customer Experience.  The LMS team develops web-based and mobile solutions that leverage the power of the cloud and open-source technologies. 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Manage Agile team(s) of high caliber engineers working on building scalable, reliable and sustainable systems

·         Recruit and hire engineers according to your team’s growth target

·         Coach your engineers on their career development through 1 on 1 and performance evaluation meetings

·         Work with engineers to define architecture of the systems you own

·         Work with Product Owner(s) and/or other stakeholders to understand requirements, set priorities, build the roadmap, and deliver to plan

·         Own definition, measurement, and reporting of operational metrics

·         Establish and run the operational support for your team’s software

·         Drive improvements of engineering and operational excellence

Basic Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

·         5+ years of experience in software development

·         3+ years of experience in managing software development teams with hands-on architectural experience

·         Strong technical knowledge in both front end and back end systems with proficiency in Java, Spring, MVC, AngularJS, SQL, NoSQL and mobile.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated technical leadership

·         Experience in Agile software methodologies

·         Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications:

·         2+ years of experience in supporting Labor Management, ERP or HR Systems

·         2+ years of experience using Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, EMR)

·         Some fluency in Korean language is a plus
