Responsibilities:

- Work with Hardware architect and other SMEs to define comprehensive diagnostic architecture to make sure hardware design could be validated independent from system software

- Responsible for driver development for embedded microprocessor and standard interfaces like I2C,SPI, MDIO, DDR, PCI-E for control path validation and diagnostic, as well as multithreaded ASIC platforms for data path to get diagnostic architecture implemented

- Co-work with other hardware team members to accomplish all necessary validation, including circuit and SI validation, thermal and compliance test

- Guide operation team to build manufacturing test solution on top of hardware diagnostic system to achieve maximal reuse and consistency between design and manufacturing test.

- Stay up to date on development in new networking chipset, processors and tools to satisfy customers needs

- Support design managers to mentor team members

Qualifications:

- Self-motivation, Strong teamwork, Strong communication and analytical problem solving skills

- Proven experience of driver development background with strong C / C++ development / debug skills, with successful delivery Telecom product from design to production, preferred with Broadcom chipsets (XGS/DNX)

- Good understanding of Linux kernel, OS Internals, Device Drivers, File Systems and boot loaders.

- Familiar with software development tools such as IDEs, compilers, source control system, defect / bug tracking systems and test case management systems.

- Hands-on experience with x86 processor is a plus

- MSEE with 7+ years, or BSEE with 10+ yrs relevant experience
