Production test platform development engineer

Job Description:

We expect that the candidate has through hands-on and test development experience in the following two areas:

• Hardware development; PCB-design, current measurement and SPI

• Embedded Software development, hardware. C/C++ language

This role will have the following responsibilities:

• Production test platform hardware development

  • Independently design of entire HW production test platforms.

  • Responsible for entire life cycle of test hardware development. Collecting requirement, PCB-design, software implementation and integration.

  • Support current test equipment as well as supporting customers test platform.

• Production test platform software development

  • Implement rock-solid software to control the hardware

  • All software need to be implemented in an easy to read and maintainable way.

• On-site failure analysis support

  • Help customers to find root-cause for production test related problems.

  • Improve customer test hardware and co-develop test hardware with customer.

  • Prepare and review customer failure analysis reports.

  • Drive failure analysis on system level, clarify and breakdown issue.

• Production test bring up (PAC and module)

  • Test bring up at new OSATs and module houses

  • Data collections, test limit evaluation and yield follow up

  • Yield improvement investigations

  • Test setup and implementation support

Success in this role requires:

• A genuine interest and solid background in embedded electronics

• Bachelor or master degree in the field of electronics or equivalent

• A minimum of 5 years of professional relevant work experience

• Fluent in English and Chinese, written and spoken

• Excellent communication skills

• Service-minded attitude and comfortable working close with customers

• Flexible family situation, which allows frequent travel on short notice

• Self-driven with a positive, proactive and responsible mindset

• Good sense for prioritizing and well organized.

Experience in several of the following areas are required, please point out the areas in which you have experience/knowledge in your application:

• Developing production test platforms, preferable in the mobile industry.

• PCB-design, current measurement

• SPI/I2C

• Low-level software development (C/C++ language)

• Working with capacitive fingerprint sensors

• Customer training

• Electronics failure analysis, preferable on ASIC and module level

• HW system reference design

• Electrical simulations using a spice simulator

• Production support and test bring up (industrialization)

• Yield improvements

• Signal processing and data analysis (Matlab, Octave, Python)
