Major Responsibilities

1. Coordinate payroll processing for assigned entities (mainly Greater China)

• Liaise with HR on Payroll movement / changes

• Liaise with SIP Admin on Commission payout

• Liaise with FESCO on obtaining data for social insurance & housing fund deduction (for China)

• Request RSU vesting details from Equity for tax computation

1. Review and verify payroll reports from vendors to ensure data are correct

2. Review payroll journal entries prepared by vendors

3. Manage annual leave accruals

4. Maintain documentation and provide data / report for respective statutory filing within the stipulated deadlines

5. Handle employee’s inquiries on payroll matters

6. Standardize templates for payroll supporting documents across APAC

7. Coordinate with IT / HR on monthly GPS data output file required by vendors for payroll processing

8. Participate in on-going payroll projects as needed

9. Cross-train as back-up for APAC payroll for various countries

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Accounting or other equivalent Finance/Accounting qualification

• At least 4 years’ payroll experience

• Solid understanding of the entire payroll cycle including processing salaries and social contributions in different APAC countries, especially China

• Good understanding of the local payroll tax and compliance is required

• Good oral and written communication skills (English and Mandarin)

• Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines
