Essential Responsibilities
Macro data collection, analysis and filing (economy, social, technical, healthcare, pharmaceutical industry etc.)
Digest information various data source (IMS, CPA, OMS, internal report and etc.) to anticipate market development, monitor competitive performance and provide update report to management
Proactively collecting competitor intelligence through various channels,i.e. sales, customer and media, provide in-depth analysis and suggestions to commercial team
Providing leadership to the delivery of strategic market research to foster growth within MDx. Development and implementation of a comprehensive market information strategy for MDx business.
Accountable for high quality, commercial information. This information is interpreted, and appropriate recommendations made to allow effective decision-making.
Ensuring understanding, description and valuation of product profiles and market trends
Leading market research projects that are developed and implemented to support commercial decision making on products and/or strategies
Developing program and project plans, resource requirements and strategic analysis and research for business growth
Establish and monthly update the product, marketing activity and regional sales performance dashboard from marketing point of view
Introduce or suggest useful marketing intelligence tools to marketing team
Being a key contributor in the Growth Playbook and SII process
Role Summary/Purpose
Responsible for market research, market analytics, competitor intelligence and strategic forecast modeling, ensuring GE LS develops products that meet customer’s needs and are developed with a deep understanding of the market place and the competition, including systematic, objective collection and analysis of data about a particular target market/customer, competition, and/or environment. Identify and advise on the key marketing challenges for the business.
Qualifications/Requirements
University graduate, preferable in marketing, business administration, economy or statistics
Knowledgeable in IT and IMS
English literacy and fluency
>3 years independent market research background
Customer-driven, result-oriented, data sensitivity
Strong communication and coordination skills
Strong analytical and process skills
Desired Characteristics
1. Master’s or Ph.D. in Marketing, Statistics or Economics
2. 5+ years experience in marketing, product marketing or related field
3. Ability to interpret large amounts of information, e.g. from clinical studies, scientific papers, financial reports and in-depth market research studies
4. Excellent forecasting capabilities and ability to exploit a range of commercial evaluation techniques
5. Objective approach on commercial issues
6. Excellent project management skills – able to lead and manage complex matrix teams
7. High energy, works proactively and demonstrates flexibility in approach to changing work priorities.
8. Preferable familiar with pharmaceutical market
9. Team oriented – ability work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
