Essential Responsibilities
• Be responsible for PCB layout design for Electronics projects globally, including placement, route, layout review, generating manufacturing data and post process.
• Set up PCB design regulations based on design rules.
• Maintain PCB layout guideline and checklist.
• Work with suppliers to solve Engineering Questions and review DFM to keep improving product quality and reliability.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Associates degree in Electronics and a minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience in Mentor software and Gerber tool, mastering Expedition PCB and Dxdesigner is a must.
• Experience in multi-layer PCB layout and high frequency/high speed layout. Be familiar with DDR2/3 rules.
• Knowledge of basic electronic circuit/logic design, EMC and PCB manufacturing.
• Be familiar with PCB Mentor library including cell and symbol creation.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills for presenting, discussing, and documenting technical information.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently toward timely completion of a desired goal.
