Associate Account Manager- On-boarding team
Location: Shanghai
Department: APAC Merchant Services Support
Market: China
The On-boarding AAM will be responsible for helping new PayPal merchant sign up, activate and ramp up. The focus of AAM is to proactively identify, analyse, reach agreement with merchants, implement operational process and drive insights. Self-motivation and adaptability to a fast-paced target oriented environment are highly preferred. Business acumen, sales skill and service spirit are required.
They play a key role in meeting the revenue and account optimization goals of the APAC Merchant Services Support team. The team is responsible for growth and optimization of current merchant accounts and managing those relationships through the sales lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Meet monthly, quarterly, annual sales and revenue targets
Meet daily, weekly and monthly activity targets such as outbound calls, time spent on phone, number of opportunities won and close rates
Work the entire sales process from reviewing leads to the growth and optimization of accounts. Maintain an active pipeline of sales leads
Complete required SalesForce.com sales process and pipeline activity tracking with detail and accuracy
Communicate appropriate product and technical information to merchants and conduct follow-up according to department standards
Identify sales trends, document prospect feedback, and contribute constructive feedback to our internal partners regarding marketing, product, and systems as necessary
Conduct research and keep educated about current market trends, opportunities, and competition
Maintain and exhibit a positive and professional attitude while building collaborative relationships among potential and existing internal and external customers and colleagues
Frequently interface with Integration Engineers, Account Underwriting and Marketing
Demonstrate a productive teamwork through a positive attitude, being supportive in words and actions, embodying our core values, and communicating effectively with co-workers and customers
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Experience in sales, up-sell, or cross-sell customer support
Strong verbal (phone) communication skills: actively listen and speak clearly to customers
Strong written (email) communication skills: use proper grammar and punctuation
Ability to make sound, logical decisions while demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility, confidentiality, and professionalism
Experience working within an internet company
Open,?honest?and?direct?communicator
English writing and speaking skills
Required Qualifications
Graduate of Merchant Services New hire/Boot Camp Training or Merchant Services eBay University
Experience with Risk Operations or in working with difficult customers and delivering complex messages addressing company needs for additional customer information or actions
Ability to learn and adapt to new software technologies
Strong working knowledge of external systems and PC based internet and software applications (primarily in using the internet and the Microsoft Office suite)
