Responsibilities:
Factory Automation
? Specify, plan, procure, install, validate, and support the overall plant automation control system that integrates the manufacturing process, operator interfaces, data collection, materials handling, and facility management systems; this scope includes the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
? Lead plant wide data collection and analysis projects (ERP, SFC, MES, PDM, SPC, etc.) to ensure that operation is data and fact driven.
? Interface with equipment manufacturers during the equipment design / build stages to define and ensure required data communication capability
? Manage automation controls activities; review designs for consistency and technical accuracy
? Ensure good engineering, design, and implementation processes are documented and followed both internally and with external vendors
? Provide Factory Acceptance Test support at vendor facilities in preparation for shipment to plant
Department and Employee Support
? Provide leadership and direction to other IS Staff as directed by the Site IS Manager
? Maximum system/network and applications up time with minimum cost spent. Enhance the end-users ease of use through appropriate training. Improve user satisfaction through better response, and training.
Project Management and Change Control
? Participate in Regional/Local projects relating to major Software, Hardware rollouts in BPI
? Deliver projects on time through proper planning, making use of the available resources meet the customer expectations with good quality towards customer satisfaction
Vendor Support
? Ensure all required hardware and software is current and maintained, under appropriate service contracts, and documented for business continuity
Information Back-up and Access Control
? Formal procedure for user access management
? Implement backup system & disaster recovery solutions.





Qualifications:
? BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field;
? 7+ years experience in an equipment automation environment, preferably with Mitsubishi PLC Equipment;
? 3 + years experience working with MES/SPC Systems is a mixed batch/discrete production environment;
? Demonstrated knowledge of material and process batch and product lot/serial genealogy;
? 7 + years experience writing and maintaining system requirements, design, operating, validation, change control, and administration documentation, as well as end-user support and training manuals;
? Fluent in Chinese as well as English written and verbal
? Strong teamwork and customer-service orientation required.
