Role Summary/Purpose

Working with the COE and country teams, lead the implementation of key programs that will drive solutions across the Asia Pacific.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the implementation of the CDF APAC solution. Provide project leadership for the integration of all systems involved in setting up the Asia instance of AIMS/COMMS and ancillary systems. • Provide expert advice and support to other departments in enabling the implementation of solutions. Proactively work with the LEAN organization on IT Solutions. • Effective vendor management, right vendor selection, maintaining working relationship, ensuring full value is achieved out of the engagement. • Define adequate infrastructure setup along with Technology Teams to meet requirements around performance, security, data privacy, cost for the strategic solution set. • Develop a standardized cost efficient post implementation strategy for the CDF APAC platforms. • Define process to coordinate multiple implementations, prioritization of enhancements, and upgrades for CDF platforms across APAC. • Responsible for creating and obtaining approval for annual budget to maintain and upgrade the CDF applications. • Responsible for coordinating build and test of applications, leading IT resources under both direct and indirect control (GDC, Contractors, FTE, etc.) • Leading critical regional initiatives supporting the COE Leader & Regional CIO.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Proven ability to deliver on major technology programs, over $3MM USD in spend• Proven track record in architecting major applications and managing a region platform.• Successfully lead teams across multiple countries and have the experience of managing diverse team members in a matrix organization• Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management• The person needs to be a self-starter and be quick to understand and learn new technologies. He/she would need to be able to team with service delivery and architecture to drive most feasible business solution. • Demonstrated competency in delivering efficient and effective technical solutions to diverse and complex business problems • Based in Shanghai, and ability to travel.

Desired Characteristics

• Long term (>10 yrs) in technical IT Roles and experience in an Asia Pacific regional role.• Consumer and Commercial Finance experience.• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, engineering or related discipline with an IT focus is preferred.• Currently in or previous role as Business Solutions leader.• Deep product understanding or financial lending products.• Manage or participate in technology projects or initiatives. • The applicant requires strong delivery expertise.
