Role Summary/Purpose

An Electrical Engineer learns the practical application of engineering principals, achieves expertise in Electronic Engineering, and investigates new techniques as part of a team. The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing electronic product/subsystem release solutions.

Essential Responsibilities

•Be responsible for Electrical structure design with strong low cost design concept and detail design of the patient monitor products, and complete the design phase documents •Lead a matrix team to develop a new sub-system and define the schedule and delegate the detail tasks, and assist the program team or function team in preparation for phase/stage review meetings, and coordinate and facilitate project team meetings if necessary •Review the Electrical designs owned by others, and identify the potential design risks and provide the mitigation solutions •Prepare the technical review meeting agendas, documents and distribute meeting minutes and action items and follow-up to ensure completion •Be eager to capture the opportunities to conduct the cost-down and quality improvement projects via involving the external and internal resources •Provide the technical suggestions and identify the technology or capacity gaps within a new program or a sub-system project •Work with cross-function team to define the products, sub-systems, and components qualification criteria, and provide the supports for the criteria continuous profiting •Lead a sub-team to solve the production or design problems via collecting relevant data systematically and root cause analysis, present to the leadership team •Assist system verification, resolve problem from system verification •Support software development, system integration

Qualifications/Requirements

1.Bachelor degree + in Electronic Engineering or Biomedical (with Bio-instrumentation focus) 2.At least 5 years experiences in analog/digital design and development for complex systems or computerized products 3.Demonstrated experience in FPGA /VHDL designing 4.Proven experience in EMC/EMI design, familiar with EDA tools (Cadence and Mentor Graphics) 5.Experienced in design change, production/sourcing support, and/or reliability testing within the development of medical devices 6.Aware of and comply with the Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations 7.Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing and quality of outcomes 8.Demonstrated understanding/experience with the New Product Introduction (NPI) cycle 9.Demonstrated problem-solving, interpersonal and leadership skills 10.Strong written and oral communication skills both in Chinese and English

Desired Characteristics

1.At least three years experiences in medical device industry or equivalent safety critical industry 2.Familiarity with work principle of patient monitor 3.Familiarity with Design process and tools 4.Understanding of IEC60601-1 and particular standards for patient parameters 5.Familiarity with ISO 13485 6.Six Sigma green belt
