职位描述
Job details / role purpose
You will be responsible for managing delivery through the full value chain, ensuring solutions are delivered as outlined in agreed release plan, in an agile environment;
The project manager/product owner applies agile principles and practices to deliver prioritized business needs, increasing levels of digitalization to achieve growth and enhance customer experience;
The project manager/product owner is trained in Scrum and supports the team in ensuring value is earned as early as possible, defining and sharing vision, roadmap and release iteration plan with the Scrum team; Updating and prioritizing product backlog; Managing the scheduling of release plan;
Role requires close working relationships with key users, following the agreed validation process to ensure the solution meets with end users’ expectations;
The job holder will be responsible for ensuring that the solution is used and the usage rate is regularly measured;
Key responsibilities
USER NEEDS MANAGEMENT
? Organize user functional and non-functional needs gathering workshops with end users and other stakeholders.
? In collaboration with Scrum team, define processes and IT solutions which encompass the full value chain
? Gather user needs into a Product Backlog, incrementally decompose into items that must be implementable during one iteration.
? Estimate, or support stakeholder to estimate, the business value of user needs in order to prioritize them.
? Prioritize needs based on business value and implementation effort.
? Write (or support analysts to write) the specifications and acceptance criteria of functionalities to be developped. Write related test cases.
? Negotiate the expected scope at each iteration, based on the priority and the capacity of the team.
? Regularly maintain the Product Backlog to track changes : adding reprioritization or deleting needs.
? Decide on any temporary or permanent waivers in the expected content at each iteration.
ROADMAP MANAGEMENT
? Define, with all the stakeholders, the roadmap construction and deployment of intermediate releases ( Minimum Viable Products ) to optimize the return on investment.
? Manage release planning to ensure all key dependencies and deliverables are identified and scheduled in release plan
? Incorporate the roadmap processing techniques obsolescence in order to minimize the associated risks.
? With the steering committee, anticipate and contribute to the decision to stop the project, when the return on investment is no longer valid or not sufficient.
SHARING THE VISION AND NEEDS
? Work with the BPO (Business Process Owner) to develop and take ownership of stakes and strategy.
? Elaborate and share the vision with all stakeholders.
? Respond to Team’s queries about functional aspects
? Ensure that changes to the Product Backlog comply with the initial vision
SOLUTION VALIDATION
? At the end of each iteration, attend the demonstration of the intermediate version of the solution and confirm that the team has met the expressed requirements.
? At the end of each iteration, organizes or contribute to the validation of intermediate versions of the solution.
? Organize or participate in the final approval of the version to deploy (MVP) by involving key business users and end users.
? Describe the bug reports and change requests and prioritizes the associated work .
? Participate in the decision to Go Live.
? Install tools for measuring solution usage and collect/analyze the measures in order to adjust the solution to the expectations.
SOLUTION DEPLOYMENT
? Job holder works with the BPO to develop deployment strategy.
? Job holder organizes the deployment of the solution: system integration, data migration, user training and support, business support organization.
COORDINATION OF CONTRIBUTING TEAMS
? Ensure that all the contributing teams are aligned in terms of content from the perspective of integrating their contributions at the end of each iteration.
? Organize the validation of the solution which integrates the various contributions.
? Attend retrospectives at the end of iteration to improve collaboration with different stakeholders.
REPORTING
? Report project work progress and risk management to the steering committee in collaboration with the other project actors.
Profile sought and key requirements
General Competencies and Experience
? Experience in working in an agile project delivery environment
? Experience in digital marketing initiatives
? Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and manage change
? Strong documentation skills, in particular writing requirements specification documents and test cases in Chinese and English
? Proven ability to effectively manage own time and priorities to meet deadlines
? Strong Communication (verbal & written) and Interpersonal Skills
? Experience in IT, Insurance or Automotive industries preferred
? Ability to work effectively within a team environment
? A strong and motivational leader, fostering relationships and coaching/ mentoring
