Position: Transition Management

Division/Department: HR, Orga. & ITP / ITP Region China

Location: Beijing

Main goals and objectives:

• Manage activities for the smooth transition of solutions and services from the service delivery processes to the operations involving assessment, planning and preparation, resource management , communication, deployment testing.
• Work with project managers early in the project life cycle
• Plan and manage transition activities in tandem with project plan, working closely with operations team
• Maintain Project/transition and deployment KPI
• Status/progress reporting

• Set up a communication platform for all relevant stakeholders which include VW, Audi etc. brands and Chinese JVs.

• Gather all necessary documentations by create and maintain document requirement list.

• Increase transition efficiency by accurate estimation and process management.

• Revolve conflicts between parties

• Better management of risks and assessments.

• Ensure transition are succeed and don't lead to unintended consequences

• Budget management and control to ensure the total cost efficiency

• Open bid process, vendor management and contract management

Your Responsibilities:

• Build up and maintain transition process.
• Facilitate transition requirements, maintain transition portfolio and build up transition plan.
• Prepare transition workbook, standard and document requirement list.
• Define role and responsibility of every transition projects.
• Arrange transition meeting
• Review and validate required documents
• Regular transition status reports
• Ensure the transition cost efficiency and budget under control
• Support the transition escalation, reporting

Our Requirements:

Necessary education:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business or a related field

Personal skills:

• Has PMP/ITIL certification or similar experience in a delivery or service design role
• Proven track record of being results orientated with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Working experience (in years):

• 5+ years in the IT industry, with specific expertise around IT project and program management or operation management.
