We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Senior Finance Manager, Special Projects, HSBC Life Insurance.

In this role, you will:

Reporting to Head of Finance, this role will act as project manager for various special projects in INSH. The special projects will mainly include:

Special project implementation to meet group reporting requirements as well as local accounting standard (to be issued).

The person in this position need to lead a cross-function project team to complete project planning, execution, training/communication. the project will involve

- actuarial model change

- changes to operation system/accounting system and data extraction

- build control procedures

- report and update to management team on project progress/budget execution, etc.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

- CICPA qualification or equivalent is preferred

- 7+ insurance financial experience, especially in financial reporting and analysis

- Familiar with China GAAP and IFRS, especially insurance accounting policy

- Good knowledge of actuarial modeling

- Excellent project management experience

- Strong team leadership and people skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and effective problem solver.

- Good knowledge of English (written and spoken) with good communication skills.
