Essential Responsibilities
"• Act as IT business partner with Global Operations Properties (GOP), responsible to connect with multiple stakeholders ( Global IT team, Regional Operation, Business functions) to execute related IT product deployment regionally.
• Manage all existing Global Operations Properties Asia center IT products, social media (WeChat), regional IT infrastructure and IT support team to ensure stability and optimal operating conditions with close adherence to global enterprise standard and cyber security requirement.
• Partner with GOP team to explore and drive various kind of smart campus and smart building initiatives to provide a better working environment and reduce operation cost.
• Take lead of helpdesk robotics implementation and future Gym RFID solution expansion in China campus.
• Specifically for ECMS product, responsible to collaborate with energy efficiency consultant partner to conduct energy efficiency audit, optimization algorithm design and translate into design specification.
• Apply Agile principles to translate unstructured or ambiguous customer needs/requirements into actionable user stories and work units
• Define long term product roadmap and short term sprints/iterations release plan for GOP products including ECMS (Energy Consumption Management System).
• Oversee full lifecycle of implementation to ensure scalability, reliability, and security of GOP products.
• Work out standard product rollout package, which includes product catalogue, whiter paper, readiness questionnaire, implementation toolkits and support toolkits
• Partner with GE Digital team to define go to market business model, pricing strategy and after-sales service model for relevant GOP product (e.g. ECMS).
• Responsible to define applicable technology stack and work out product value proposition for the Businesses."
Role Summary/Purpose
Candidate will be responsible for managing all GOP IT applications as well as exploring emerging technologies to enhance internal/external products, providing technical and product leadership on cloud solution (including Predix, AWS, Azure, etc.) based IOT product (ECMS - Energy Consumption Management System) evolution, regional/global rollout and commercialization.
Qualifications/Requirements
"• Bachelor's degree (or above) in Computer Science or in “STEM” majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
• Minimum of 3 years of system analysis, project management or system development experience in an information technology environment
• Good Knowledge of UX and Software Design Patterns.
• Familiar with Predix, Java, Node.js and Python
• Basic IT infrastructure knowledge including but not limited to Operating system, network, data encryption.
• Experience in Agile development
• Six Sigma, PMP, ITIL or related certifications.
• Knowledge of IOT and HVAC energy efficiency improvement.
• Good understanding on IOT, energy efficiency improvement technology stack, value proposition and Business impact.
• Strong oral and written English skills"
